About the author:
Dr. William H. Stephens was founding editor of Biblical Illustrator, a Bible backgrounds and archeology magazine published by LifeWay Christian Resources. He has traveled widely throughout Europe and the Near East visiting archeological and other biblical sites as well as museums that hold artifacts which illustrate the life, culture, and history of the biblical world. All of the photographs in The Archeology Bible New Testament were taken by Dr. Stephens and belong to him. He is the author of thirteen books, including Where Jesus Walked, The New Testament World in Pictures, andthe novel The Mantle (also published as Elijah and Prophet of Fire).
